NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN: STS Scratch and Win Game ("Game") begins 2/28/08 at 12:00 am EST and ends 5/31/08 at 11:59 pm EST ("Game Period").
Eligibility: Game is open to legal residents of NY, NJ and PA who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Somerset Tire Service, Inc, also know as, STS Tire & Auto Centers ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, agents and employees thereof, as well as the immediate family members of, and individuals residing in the same household as such persons, are not eligible. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. GAME VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
HOW TO OBTAIN GAME CARD:Obtain a STS Scratch & Win Game Card ("Game Card") at the cash register of participating STS Tire & Auto Centers with the purchase of any item. Game Cards are available until 5/15/08 or while supplies last. One (1) Game Card per customer/per visit. To obtain one (1) STS Scratch & Win Game Card (per request) without purchase, send a hand-written, self-addressed, stamped envelope with your name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, age, and e-mail to: "STS Scratch & Win Game Card Request", P.O. Box 1929, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. Mail in requests for Game Cards must be postmarked by 5/15/08 and received by 5/22/08. Game cards will be available only while supplies last. Limit one (1) Game Card request per envelope; one (1) Game Card per valid request.
Game Cards (200,000 total number of Game Cards). Each Game Card will contain two scratch off areas. Scratch both areas gently with the edge of a coin. The scratch off area marked "enter code at website" will contain a unique code. That will allow you to enter the online portion of the Game at www.sts50years.com for a chance to win online prizes. The scratch off area marked "Instant Rewards" is where your instant prize/reward will be revealed.
How to Enter Online: To enter online go to www.sts50years.com and follow the instructions. For each online entry, you will need to provide the following information: the unique code from the Game Card, your name, complete mailing address, telephone number, email address and age. The online game will generate a random winning number out of 1,000,000 numbers for the Grand Prize. Each online entrant will be automatically assigned a random number between 1 – 1,000,000 at the time of online entry. The grand, first and second prize winners will be announced at the end of the Game. If the online entrant's random number matches the winning number, the online entrant will be awarded the Grand Prize. The first and second prizes will be seeded among the 200,000 unique codes located on the available Game Cards. If the first or second prizes are not awarded or redeemed during the game period a random drawing will be conducted of all eligible entries received on the website at the end of the Game. Only one (1) online entry per Game Card. Potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. All online entries must be received by Sponsor by 11:59 pm EST on 5/31/08. All online entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line server provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

1. Grand Prize (1): $50,000. The $50,000 will be awarded in the form of a $50,000 check. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $50,000. Odds of winning: 1:1,000,000
2. First Prize (1): two (2) round trip airfares to any and from any one (1) of the fifty (50) states, from any major airport. ARV of the prize not to exceed a total value of $2,000. Odds of winning: 1:200,000. Certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply.

How To Redeem Prizes/Rewards:
Online Prizes:
If you are a winner of an online prize, you will be notified by mail on or about 6/7/08 and will be given instructions on how to redeem your prize. Online prize winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, publicity and liability release within fourteen (14) days of notification. The first prize online winner's traveling companion will be required to sign and return a liability/publicity release before tickets will be issued, and if the companion is a minor, the winner must be that minor's parent or legal guardian and must execute a liability/publicity release on behalf of the minor. In the event of non-compliance with each of these requirements, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Any prize notice that results from error of any kind will be void.
Instant Prizes:
To redeem the Visa gift card, gasoline gift card, Best Buy gift card or iTunes gift card, mail in your original winning Game Card with a 3 x 5 card with your name, address, number and the words "STS Scratch & Win" to: STS Scratch & Win Prize Claim, PO Box 1325, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. No photocopies or mechanical reproductions of Game Card will be accepted. Instant win prize claims must be postmarked by 6/6/08 and received by 6/13/08. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or postage due prize claims. Your Game Card will be subject to verification and confirmation of eligibility.
STS Instant Prizes/Rewards:
To redeem the brake inspection coupon, alignment check coupon, battery test coupon, free 12 point vehicle safety inspection or $3 off an oil change, present the Game Card with the instant prize/reward to an employee at a participating STS Tire & Auto Center cash register. Must present the instant reward before ordering. Only one (1) instant prize/reward can be used during any visit. Customer must pay any applicable sales tax. Not valid with any other offer and cannot be combined with any other coupons. Rewards and prizes (except gift certificates) are valid until 8/30/08. Instant reward has no cash value. If retail value is less than instant reward amount, the customer will not be entitled to the additional value of the instant savings. No photocopies or mechanical reproductions of Game Card will be accepted. Your Game Card will be subject to verification and confirmation of eligibility.
Miscellaneous:
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding, in all matters relating to the Game. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Game. By participating in the Game, participants release STS Tire & Auto Centers, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their directors, employees, officers and agents, including, without limitation, its advertising and promotional agents, from any and all liability, including without limitations property damage, personal injury and/or death, claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy, arising out of, in whole or in part, from the participation in this Game or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize or reward awarded in connection with the Game or participation in any prize/reward related activities. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that the preceding release is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or void for any reason, the entrant agrees that, by entering the Game, (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Game, or any prize and/or instant prize/reward awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Game, but in no event attorney's fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses.
Online Game entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. In relation to the Online Game, Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled or illegible entries; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Game.
Game Cards that contain printing errors, are tampered with, illegible, photocopied, altered, forged, tampered with in anyway, or which contain any printing, mechanically typographical or other errors, distributed where prohibited by law or not obtained through legitimate channels will be deemed null and void and will not be accepted for redemption. Liability for any irregular Game Cards will be limited to replacement with another Game Card, if available. In no event will more prizes or rewards be awarded than the estimated maximum prizes or rewards payout per these Official Rules. If through printing or production or other errors, or for any other reason, more prizes or rewards claims are received than the estimated maximum payout per these Official Rules, winners at each prize or reward level will be determined in a random drawing from among all submitted eligible and verified prize or reward claims received at that prize or reward level.
Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) disqualify from the Game, any person it believes has violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Game if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or any other damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Game. If the online game is terminated before the end date, Sponsor will determine the online game winners from all eligible online entries received as of the termination date.
All federal, state and local taxes and other expenses or costs relating to the prizes not expressly set forth herein, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not transferable by winner and winner may not redeem prize for cash value. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value at its sole discretion.
All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Entry constitutes consent to the use of prize winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness without compensation for promotional purposes.
